We offer homeschoolers access to a well-regarded, standardized, and nationally normed computer-adaptive assessment program for reading and math. For students in grades K through 12, this program assesses current skill levels and tracks progress.

Program Benefits

  • Provides Essential Data

With the 2024 update to national normative data, these standardized computer-adaptive reading and math assessments offer more accurate grade equivalent scores, percentiles, and instructional levels. By comparing student performance to peers in the same grade across the United States who have encountered similar educational changes in recent years, these assessments provide a clearer measure of student progress and abilities.

  • Tracks Academic Growth

It is recommended that students complete these computer-adaptive reading and math assessments three times annually during Fall, Winter, and Spring to track their progress toward mastering grade-level benchmarks and individualized goals. The assessment scores are intended to reveal patterns in student performance, helping to determine whether students are meeting, exceeding, or falling short of their learning objectives.

  • Builds Test-Taking Skills

These assessments offer students the chance to become familiar with the adaptive format through practice tests, helping them get comfortable with the types of questions they might face. Additionally, effective time management and clear understanding of directions are crucial, as the difficulty of questions adjusts based on performance. Developing strong test-taking skills, such as strategic guessing and staying calm under pressure, help to ensure success.
